Goodwin Village

The project consisted of 5 new bed sits, additional staff amenities and communal spaces to meet current and future market requirements.

The project was developed as a small household model which despite being designed before the Covid-19 pandemic and the Royal Commission Report was handed down, predicted responses that subsequently emerged from both, and that will guide design for aged care living over the next decades.

Small scale use of natural materials, strong way finding element, use of natural light and ready access to external landscaped gardens were key features that will optimize the quality of life for residents.
